Sandisk 16GB SDHC-UHS-I card warranty is not executed / no customer support

I bought a Sandisk 16GB SDHC-UHS-I card at MediaMarkt Gdynia in 03-2019. According to the accompanying documentation, the memory card has a 10-year warranty. Unfortunately, the memory card no longer works and the warranty (also purchased) must be claimed. Mediamarkt has the policy to provide a warranty-service for 2 years after the purchase date. There is nothing wrong with that, it's company policy. The annoying thing is that MM does not wish to give its customers any help or indication how the warranty (purchased with the product) can be obtained after this two years period. Also their distributor (Hama Poland) gives no response to emails how to obtain warranty. The whole is not cultural. MM would like to sell but when defects occur she does not give any response to help the customer get his rights. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. User's recommendation: Avoid Mediamarkt to buy something. Maybe the price is okay but later you might regret buying something there.

No refund for the returned product

I ordered merchandise on 3rd March on the website of Media Markt electronics megastore. On 5th March the merchandise came in a damaged packing, so I have immediately returned it in their store. I was supposed to get a refund in 14 days (as is required by European consumer law), i.e. by 19th March. It is now 5th April (one month after returning the goods) and I still have not got the funds on my credit card. I was trying to contact them via phone and e-mail, and I am getting the automated messages that my refund case is being verified. I don't intend to buy from this vendor again.

User's recommendation: Don't buy in Media Markt !!!
